Japan impressions
Tokyo, Kamakura, Kyoto, Sendai, Fuji, all in three weeks. Photos below, but nothing quite conveys the strange juxtaposition of ancient and modern, exquisite and whacky. Amazing food - okonomoyaki (see below), korean barbecue, nabe, hot-pot, sushi, and lots more. And Lynda's favourite - hot sake! Then there are the toilets, vending machines, weird pictograms (also see below) and Japanese girls dressed as Goths.... It all has to be seen to be believed.
