Bridget's African Adventure

Two weeks into the adventure now, and Bridget sounds positive and happy. It is marvellous to have reasonable channels of communication, with her mobile phone, emails and her blog. We're still giggling at her account of a hospital visit during which she received a proposal of marriage!

Breakfast by the pool on our first morning in Madeira - extra cream on the cakes!

The view from the top of the cliff at Cabo Girao - just 5 minutes walk up the hill from our flat.. it's a sheer drop of 589m, according to the guidebooks. The odd metre or two is neither here nor there - let's say it's vertiginous!
